This week has been up and down for me, but the main three things that really got to me was firstly my tutor would literally not fuck off during one of my lessons, I think he made it his goal to make me feel as socially awkward as possible and since I have anxiety it kinda ended in a panic attack in the bathroom...
Secondly, well for those of you who don't know I'm currently studying music at college (I play guitar) anyway part of our unit is to pick a solo song to preform (the idea being you will be the centre of attention) my tutor wanted to change the key even though the singer and the rest of the band were perfectly happy with the original key after he left we had 10 minutes till we had to present to the class so we changed it back, when they were giving feedback some one said "it sounded really good" my tutor then replied "was it really though?" in the most arrogant tone I've ever heard, he then spend the next 10 minutes telling us about how wrong we were.
Finally, this week I've never felt so lonely... all my "friends" avoided me during our breaks, if I was sat on my table they would see me and sit all the way across the room and pretend like I didn't exist and if I was to sit with them they would all make excuses to leave which was pretty much the icing on the cake.
Either way this is what I did to try and cope with things and I hope they help you!
- take a deep breath, and try to not let things get to you
- keep in mind your worst week, day or month may look completely normal to everyone else so try to chill
- things always seem worse when they happen, chances are if you were to look back it wouldn't seem like a big deal
- do something you love that makes you happy, for me personally I love to watch Castle its my favourite TV show and never fails to make me smile, however it doesn't have to be TV, listen to music, take a bath, go for a walk just try to do something
- LET IT GO! holding on to anger will only make you bitter, see everyday as a fresh start and don't carry around the disappointment, hurt or anger from the day before as over time it will just pile on and make things worse than they seem.
